Nathan Caro Fréchette

Nate is one of the founders of Renaissance. He has studied creative writing, art and design, graphic novels, and graphic design. He is the main designer for Renaissance’s books and games, Renaissance’s main project manager, and Renaissance’s accountant and event manager.

Nate is also known as the author Caroline Fréchette, and has written 6 books in the Renaissance collection (which you can find on his author profile here).

Louis-Philippe Vallée is an editor, a writer, and a lost soul forever searching for cool genre fiction. He can found wandering the street and back alleys of Montreal, wearing a hoodie and headphones, nodding his head. His life and bio are a work in progress.

Marjolaine Lafrenière

Marjolaine started Renaissance along with Caro and Marie-Claude. She studied literature, art history, translation, and creative writing. She has been writing for over a decade.

Myryam Ladouceur

In her final semester of Algonquin College’s Professional Writing program, Myryam Ladouceur is currently interning at Renaissance Press, polishing her acquired editing skills on fiction manuscripts. In her spare time, she writes spooky short stories and tries to learn stop-motion animation. She aspires to become a full fledged editor one day.

Meaghan Côté

In her early twenties, Meaghan Côté attends her final semester at Algonquin College in Ottawa in the Professional Writing program. She is currently an intern with Renaissance Press working on editing a fiction manuscript. She also has a published illustrated children’s book called The Wish Granter, where a magical wolf selflessly grants other people’s wishes—that is, until he encounters a young girl.
